Position overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility utilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment; proactive problem-solver capable of handling various manual tasks and technical inspections.

Day-to-day, your work will include:

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment, perform repairs or replacements of defective parts, and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Documentation: Maintain logs and records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production personnel and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:

• Education: A high school diploma or GED, with additional technical training (Technical certification in electricity, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues effectively.
• Experience: 4–6 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a Manufacturing environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly, especially during equipment breakdowns.
