Your Role as Financial Officer:

 

As a Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in driving the organizational success as a strategic financial leader. This position requires extensive Finance experience, inclusive of strong background in a leadership. You will be responsible for Management Accounting, Executive Support, and Team Management.

Key Responsibilities:

 

🔹 Financial Statement Preparation, Analysis, and Reporting (Management Accounting)

  • Prepare, analyze, and report financial statements to support strategic decision-making.

🔹 Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee accounts receivable/payable and review investment proposals.

🔹 Tax Management

  • Ensure accurate tax compliance and manage overall tax-related regulations.

🔹 Cost Management

  • Develop strategies for cost reduction and financial efficiency improvement.

🔹 Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

🔹 Executive Support

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

🔹 Team Management and Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

What You Need to Succeed:

 

âś” Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • You're a strong people leader who has had experience in building high performing teams, driving team engagement and an inspiring culture.
  • Proficiency in financial management software.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

âś” Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience within Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis, cash flow management, budgeting, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Comprehensive experience in finance, accounting, tax, and cash flow management.
  • Experience in managing external audits for accounting and tax compliance.
  • Practical experience in inventory valuation, cost analysis, and overall accounting processes.
  • Korean language skills and cultural familiarity are highly desirable.

 

❇ While not essential, experience in establishing financial and accounting processes for newly established entities as well as experience in manufacturing or industrial plant environments will be highly regarded.
