Role Overview:

As a Treasury Manager, you will lead and enhance our cash management operations, banking relationships, and treasury systems. You’ll collaborate closely with accounting and business units to ensure proper cash recording, maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements, and support quarterly SEC filings. This position also involves supervising treasury staff and driving continuous improvement in treasury processes and systems.

 

Your broad responsibilities will include:

  • Handling banking relationships / setting up accounts.
  • In-depth and broad expertise in a variety of treasury operations areas – cash management and cash-flow forecasting.
  • SAP and / or Treasury workstation experience a plus.
  • Aptitude to excel in a dynamic work environment while managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
  • Acts as liaison to Accounting and business units to ensure all cash activity is recorded appropriately on the general ledger, to identify reconciling accountant for each bank account, and to ensure appropriate bank services are secured and applicable.
  • Notify business units of any changes in banking services, cutoff times, operating hours, contacts.
  • Evaluates, develops and implements cash management software and systems to optimize efficiencies.
  • Prepare annual debt and interest expense budgets.
  • Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, account funding.
  • Perform and document research relating to accounting and reporting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Coordinate, review and/or prepare quarterly Form 10-K and 10-Q contributions by Corporate Treasury Accounting, and related audit/review requirements.
  • Participate in the development of Corporate Treasury Accounting’s policies and procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements and ensure compliance with these.
  • Supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to Corporate Treasury Accounting staff.
  • Manage banking activities.

 

Key experience and expertise you would bring to the role would include:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, MBA, Business/Administration, Management, Education, Mathematics, Graduate, or related field.
  • Any licenses or certifications amongst these - CTP, CPA, CFA, MBA, ICM, PMP, AAP, CCM, CSM, SQL.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience within Finance or Accounting in a manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated experience with development of a new process.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), + banking, cash management, financial instruments.
  • Exceptional communication and superb interpersonal skills and the ability to positively engage on all levels of the organization, in person and via telephone.
  • With a demonstrated eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Emotional resilience, including the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proven ability to train and provide guidance to others.

 

❇ It would be beneficial (but not essential) if you also have:

  • Experience in manufacturing accounting (costing, BOM, variance analysis).
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Understanding of international accounting practices and cross-border reporting.
  • Familiarity with Korean business culture and ability to communicate in Korean.
